Sales Engineer - Europe Remote

The Sales Engineer - International will be responsible for providing discovery, design, and delivering services to channel partners and the internal sales team to meet customers’ business objectives and requirements. A deep product knowledge set is required, diversified across the most complete UC, IP and VoIP product portfolio in the industry.
Your Role:
  • Work with the international sales team to propose the best possible solution for customer requirements
  • Be the Sangoma product portfolio expert during phone calls and visits with customers
  • Provide demonstrations of our products to customers
  • Respond to RFIs, RFQs and tenders from customers and potential customers
  • Keep abreast of developments in the UC / VoIP industry
  • Stay abreast of competitors and competitive information to be able to influence customers effectively
  • Respond in a timely way to inbound enquiries from customers
  • Be actively aware of the regional forecast and funnel
  • Build rapport with customers
  • Actively work on sales engineering requests as raised in the CRM system
  • Help in recruit and onboarding new channel partners
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of all areas of the Sangoma portfolio
  • Work with product management to raise product enhancement requests
  • Deliver training courses to customers or internally
  • For complex proposals work with sales to define the bill of materials (BOM)
  • Develop high level and detailed proposals to match customer expectations for new projects
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach with partners and customers to demonstrate the technology benefits of our product portfolio
  • Regular travel to engage with current and potential customers
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations and product/service demonstrations
  • Keep up to date with the Sangoma product roadmap
  • Work with customers to create regular case studies and success stories
  • Such other services as the Employee and Company may agree upon from time to time
Your Background:
  • Fluent in English plus at least one other European language
  • At least 2 years of direct work experience in a technical role in a related industry, e.g. Unified Comms, SIP, VoIP
  • BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • You are a team player who doesn’t mind getting your hands dirty with the details as you partner with sales engineering, professional services, and various sales operations teams.
