Role Overview

The Sales Director is responsible for leading a team of sales people in our acquisition team across the UK&I region. This includes hiring, training, managing, and mentoring Account Executives. There is personal responsibility for accurately forecasting and achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives. The Director is also responsible for ensuring sales process is followed and documented in our Salesforce system.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenues for assigned clients by driving cross-sell, up-sell opportunities and professional services as assigned
  • Provide regular coaching and account strategy sessions with Account Executives
  • Be active in the field with your team and channel partners to help build relationships
  • Communicate with Marketing and Product Management regarding service trends, regulatory changes, and competitive information
  • Work with Professional Services sizing and scoping Security Risk and Consulting opportunities as well as regular communication regarding service trends, regulatory changes, and competitive information
  • Perceived as a client advocate to ensure all service issues are resolved and the client experience is enhanced
  • Provide on-going sales, security, and industry insight training to team

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ of experience in a direct sales or account management in technology, information security or managed service industry
  • At least 4 years of Management and Leadership experience
  • At least 6 years in the IT Security business
  • A willingness to travel to the extent required to develop, close and manage the business and client relationships. Travel is estimated to be 50% on average.

Preferred

  • Previous experience selling security services or managed services
  • Knowledge of and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Salesforce knowledge is desired
  • Bachelor degree
