The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our EMEA business. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in generating leads and qualifying prospects for our business-to-business (B2B) sales efforts.

The Main Responsibilities

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct proactive outreach to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and other relevant platforms. Identify and qualify potential leads based on predetermined criteria.

2. Qualification and Needs Analysis: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs, pain points, and goals. Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine if our products or services align with their requirements.

3. Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments and product demonstrations for the Sales Representatives. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of leads and maintain accurate records of interactions in Salesforce.

4. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospects to nurture their interest and move them through the sales pipeline. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing concerns.

5. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify potential business opportunities. Gather and share insights with the sales and marketing teams to optimize sales strategies.

6. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide support during the sales process. Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentations to effectively communicate the value of our products or services to prospective clients.

What We Look For in a Candidate

1. Previous Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or related roles. Experience in a B2B sales environment within the Telecom industry is highly desirable.

2. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to engage prospects effectively and build rapport. Active listening skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly are crucial. Strong preference to candidates who can speak any of these languages - Dutch, French or German.

3. Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment. A high level of self-motivation and drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations.

4. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders. Effective collaboration and teamwork are vital for success in this role.

5. Goal-Oriented: Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to maximize productivity.

6. Tech-savviness: Proficiency in using Salesforce, sales automation tools like Outreach, and other relevant technologies to streamline lead generation, qualification, and sales processes.

7. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and market dynamics. Willingness to learn about new industries, products, and sales techniques.
