Municipal Demonstrator

Purpose of the role:

To provide support to the business with the Delivery, Demonstration, Commissioning and Training on Kärcher Equipment Specializing in Municipal Equipment within the UK. The Delivery, Demonstration and Training of Kärcher municipal equipment, as required by the business, you will also promote and sell machines, chemicals and other machine accessories where applicable. Work within the EU driving and working hours regulations.

Your key responsibilities and main tasks will be:

· The Delivery, Demonstration and Training of Kärcher municipal equipment, as required by the business, you will also promote and sell machines, chemicals and other machine accessories where applicable.

· To Deliver, Demonstrate, Commission and Train on all Kärcher Municipal and cleaning equipment nationwide when required.

· Ensure all training records are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

· Promote & sell machines, detergents and other Kärcher accessories.

· Manage demonstration stocks within company guidelines.

· Maintain equipment and storage area to a satisfactory demonstration condition.

· Control of waste management as per the environmental controls/procedures in place.

· Ensure the Company vehicles are always roadworthy and that the Highway Code is strictly adhered to at all times.

· Maintain the dedicated HGV to a high standard - reporting issues within a timely manner.

· Establish and maintain good working relationships with our customers/dealers and all Kärcher staff.

· Update where applicable Kärcher’s CRM systems.

Your qualifications and experience are:

· 3 GCSEs at Grade 4, or equivalent, including English and Maths.

· Experience in a customer facing role.

· Experience in a technical role.

· Good understanding of cleaning/municipal equipment.

· Competence in mechanical and electrical engineering.

· Excellent communication skills, at all levels, both written and verbal.

· Prior experience with CRM systems.

· Current UK full driving licence essential.

· Class C HGV licence and CPC desirable.

· Ability to travel nationwide and overnights away for 50% of the year essential.
