This role could be based at any of our three bakeries, Taunton, Corby or Maidenhead

Role Purpose

To provide support to the Sales team (selected National Account Managers and Senior Sales colleagues) to ensure the sales function’s activity is efficient and focused.

Principal Accountabilities

1. To provide Senior Sales/WDM’s with internal administrative and co-ordination support.

2. To provide admin and pricing support to the Export Nam.

3. To support the process for promotional agreements internally and externally, and to measure their success.

4. To coordinate and manage launches of all ‘Core’ Mademoiselle Desserts and Handmade Cake Company products, working closely with associated teams and departments, including but not limited to Supply chain, Technical, Operation, NPD.

5. To manage the inbound sales enquiry process (for both the Handmade Cake Company and Mademoiselle Desserts UK), ensuring the inquiry is dealt with efficiently and appropriately.

6. To co-ordinate and attend Quarterly Sales meetings, collating presentation samples and materials and note actions.

7. To co-ordinate SOS and any other clearance stock. Liaising with finance, production, sales and marketing to produce WIGIG lists and offer to clearance customers such as Yearsleys.

8. To be first point of contact for members of the public calling Customer service.

9. Track and analyse customer specific Sales Out data and provide insights into trends/shares.

10. Assist with delivering training on IFS and Demand Plan Client.

11. Other tasks as occasionally requested by your Line Manager.

Skills and Knowledge

· Excellent attention to detail

· high level of organisation

· Strong communication skills

· Strong spreadsheet and word processing skills. Good knowledge of IFS systems.

· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests potentially at short notice.

· Good understanding of customer base and product range.

· Basic commercial understanding.
