Following recent private equity investment, we’re looking to expand our hugely successful Sales Team to ensure we provide the most amazing customer experience for the high volume of customers who visit our showroom every day.

Who we’re looking for

MUST HAVE CAR SALES EXPERIENCE

· You must have excellent communication skills to communicate credibly with our customers, colleagues and senior management, along with the ability to hit targets and constantly strive to “achieve more”

· You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment recognising individual responsibility to contribute to the performance and success of the team. You will have an understanding of the needs of others and a willingness to go the extra mile

· You will have the ability to keep up-to-date with complex information, proven selling skills and good analytical and problem-solving skills

· You will be good with administration, diary management and following up within agreed timeframes

· You will have a passion for customer service, have a process orientated approach and be professional and well-presented.

· You will possess excellent motivating and team-building skills as well as the ability to be a team player

· Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns is needed

· A full (Manual & Automatic) valid, UK driving licence is essential

Responsibilities

· To report directly to the Sales Manager and oversee the sales operations for the site

· A well-presented, confident individual who is comfortable communicating to a diverse customer base

· Full driving licence

· A good head for figures and understanding of personal finance issues

· Sales experience within the automotive industry

· Proven track record of exceeding targets

· Excellent ‘People Management’ skills

Essential skills

· Experience working in a Car Sales Environment

· To second face customer to maximise sales and customer satisfaction

· Assist with the operational aspect of yard for the sale of used cars

· Help to direct and motivate the sales team whilst remaining a key member of it

· Implement effective sales plans

· Advise customers of finance and insurance products and services

· Monitor payments and manage Finance agreements

· Work to meet and exceed sales targets

· Ensure the whole sales experience is delivered to every customer

· Complete paperwork tasks efficiently and in a timely manner

· Build relationships with customers with a view to anticipating future business and strengthening the Company’s reputation within the marketplace

· Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve outstanding sales results whilst delivering exceptional customer service

· Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally to customers, management and colleagues alike and treat everyone with respect

· Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct
