Who are we?Flooring Superstore is an award winning online and offline flooring retailer. We sell a wide range of floor types including specialist brands focused on smooth flooring and artificial grass. After starting out online back in 2012, we have gone from strength to strength and have grown considerably in size. We began opening up retail stores over 5 years ago to compliment our online presence. Since then, we have opened 40+ stores nationwide, with many more planned to open in 2023 and beyond.As part of our growth, we are looking for an exceptional Sales Consultant to join our Kidderminster store.What does the role involve?
  • Selling our products to both retail and trade customers in store in a friendly and approachable manner
  • Generating sales by following up with customers who have ordered samples online in the area and contacting local trade customers to promote our products and services via telephone and email
  • General housekeeping which everyone helps out with to ensure the showroom looks fantastic at all times
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be customer focused
  • Be sales driven with a hunger to not only meet your targets but exceed them
  • Have experience within a consultative, target driven sales environment
  • Have fantastic communication skills
  • Have strong IT skills - full system training will be provided however you will need to be comfortable using technology
Training?You don’t need to worry about flooring experience as you’ll attend a comprehensive training course in your first week.What are the working hours?You’ll work an average of 40 hours per week over a 3 week rolling rota, including weekend working. Work/life balance is really important to us so you’ll work a maximum of 5 days out of 7 per week.The rota is as follows:Week 1: Working a full weekend, 2 rota days off during the weekWeek 2: Working one day at the weekend, 2 rota days off; one during the week, one at the weekendWeek 3: Working one day at the weekend, 3 rota days off; two during the week, one at the weekendWhat do you get from us?
  • Attractive Salary - Basic of £21,000 + Uncapped Sales Performance Bonus (average OTE for top earners is £32,000+ however there is no limit to what you can earn).
  • New Starter Commission Top Up - we’ll top up your commission payments across your first 3 months so you’ll receive a guaranteed commission of just over £1000 in addition to what you earn.
  • Good work/life balance - you work a maximum of 5 out of 7 days on a 3 week rolling rota. You only work 4 days in the final week of your rota and only 1 full weekend in 3.
