The role

Reporting to EMEA Senior Manager – Commercial Training. You will manage, and deliver sales and commercial training to the region. This is an excellent opportunity to be trained within a fast-growing global organisation and to be empowered and trusted to take on projects that are truly impactful to the future of the business.

Responsibilities Will Include
  • Sales Training; responsible for EMEA Sales Training planning and deployment across direct and indirect sales organizations.
    • Owns and is accountable for EMEA sales new hire onboarding training programme
    • Owns and is accountable for sales training to support the EMEA Sales Excellence initiative
      • Inc supplier management
    • Aligns with global product launch training plans and, working closely with EMEA product Managers, is accountable for EMEA region product launch training deployment
    • Works with EMEA IVDR/Clinical Training Manager to ensure sales organization is clinically sales capable
    • Is responsible for managing Field Training Mentor (FTM) network
    • Responsible for the EMEA sales training plan and reporting
      • Advises sales organization on sales training requirements based on training needs analysis
      • Recommends sales training solutions to meet defined requirements
      • Develops sales training plan to deliver training for direct and indirect sales organizations
      • Develops, where appropriate, sales training content (inc. development with ILMN SMEs and external providers)
      • Delivers sales training, manages deployment (inc external provider management), and monitors’ feedback
      • Adjusts advice, plans and training accordingly to meet changing business demands
      • Provides specialist sales training support across sub-regions as required to support commercial growth initiatives
      • Manages and advises on sales training budget requirements
  • Commercial Training; responsible for defining, developing and delivering commercial training (inc. external provider management ) interventions to support the development of key business acumen skills across commercial organization. Includes but not limited to.
    • Customer Care Programme management
    • Sales Excellence initiatives
    • Soft skills training inc;
      • FAS/FSE Boot Camp
      • DDI modules (e.g. time management)
      • Team building

Preferred Background, Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or considerable experience in training related field, or
  • Can demonstrate a solid understanding of sales process and methodology and working knowledge and understanding of soft skills training
  • Experience of delivering training or education to either internal colleagues or customers. Confident in working with, presenting to, or delivering training to groups
  • Can demonstrate ability to work with ambiguity and deliver results
