Stryker Medical UK & Ireland have a unique opportunity for a talented individual to drive forward the sales of their Acute Medical business within Scotland and the North East.

A dynamic marketplace driven by a combination of Science and Technology, Stryker lead the way with their No 1 Transport Stretcher series; PRIME®, our newly launched innovative Procuity® Hospital Bed Platform, their defibrillator signature brand LIFEPAK® & our market leading LUCAS® mechanical CPR device, improving Systems of Care within the Hospital and making healthcare better for our Patients & caregivers.

What you will do:

  • Develop an effective territory sales strategy to maintain existing business, as well as drive growth with new sales opportunities.

  • Deliver annual sales targets as well as other key performance objectives.

  • Build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS & private medical sector.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and training for clinical staff.

  • Utilising CRM tools to report on sales, forecasting and budgets.

  • Attend and participate in key professional congresses and events.

  • Maintain and acquire new product, technology, market knowledge.


What do you need?

  • Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, Biology or another relevant, advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven track record of success in sales within the NHS (desired) or in other industries

  • Experience in customer acquisition and proven ability to grow new business

  • Knowledge and experience in a commercial sales background, preferably capital sales

  • Relationship building skills,

  • Knowledge of a CRM system

  • Computer skills, MS Office

  • Knowledge of Manual Handling in the NHS (desirable)

  • Must live within the defined territory, this is a field-based sales role, therefore involves a significant amount of travel
