The Sales Manager UK South can be based in any location within Southern UK (home office) and 30-40% of your time will be spent travelling, this will be mostly local travel.
In this role, you will work closely with the Sales Manager Western EU to position OTT HydroMet to win hydrology opportunities in the growing natural environmental water business (groundwater, surface water, floods/heavy rain, water quality). Your job will include identification of opportunities, relationship development with key customers and partners, and engagement with cross-functional teams.
You will be part of a collaborative sales team and enjoy the additional support that our team selling strategy offers. You will have the privilege of reporting to one of our best sales associates who will be there to mentor and coach you along the way.
At OTTHydroMet we follow a situational leadership approach so you can expect your supervisor to adapt their leadership style to your development level and the situation at hand. In your daily work you will take part in creative discussions around continuous improvement where your input will be expected and highly valued.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Strive to achieve sales goals and objectives that are in alignment with the company goals and objectives
- Plan and manage next steps to bring sales opportunities and projects to timely fruition
- Act as the custodian of our customer relationships, collaborating with other functions to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conducting Business Development Activities and build new customer relationships to build a sustainable sales funnel
- Take responsibility for top line revenue objectives and selected KPIs to improve performance and profitability
- An undergraduate degree is required with no preference regarding the specific subject
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience
- Fluent in English
- Formal sales training with strong preference given to exposure to value selling
- Selling full solutions (hardware, software, services)
