Sales & Business Development Manager – Facilities - North West Based Salary: Circa £34,000 - £40,000 based on experience + OTE + Car/car allowance, Pension, Healthcare The Company They are a progressive and dynamic Wirral based company who offer a diverse range of FM services to our client base. Their core services include – Drainage, Commercial window Cleaning, specialist deep cleaning services, Waste Management, Commercial Kitchen and industrial cleaning, Rope access works and other high level access works amongst other varied activities. Role The successful candidate will be experienced in Sales & Business Development within the facilities management sector and have a proven track record of being able to generate new business opportunities. The majority of your sales will be focused on new business so you must be a motivated self starter. You will be responsible for all stages of the sales process from cold calling, surveying, quoting, and closing down the sale. Skills and Experience; · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales Role focusing on new business · Developing business relationships across commercial and public sectors · Surveying of sites/jobs in order to establish clients requirements · Actively work to build knowledge and rapport with clients which may involve visiting sites across the Northwest. · Management of bid preparation and submission. · Providing accurate information through to the operational team to ensure contract/client requirements are met · Maintain sufficient pipeline of open opportunities in CRM to achieve assigned annual budget in accordance with company methodology. Able to self-generate own leads · Computer literate and comfortable using a computer for various tasks Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. Principal responsibilities · Generate new business opportunities in line with monthly activity and sales targets · Responsible for all stages of the sales process from cold calling to negotiating and closed the sale. · Prompt and accurate reporting to Sales Manager as necessary · Management of sales & marketing information: group CRM software, mailing, databases etc. · Organising and attending events and exhibitions. · Develop relationships with existing clients and maximise revenue potential. · Assist in the development of marketing & advertising opportunities & materials. Prerequisite - DBS check - Driving licence check - Job competency and relevant experience The successful candidate will receive a base salary of £34,000 to £40,000 and a generous commission package, a company car or car allowance will be provided along with Mobile phone, laptop and tablet.
