We’re excited to be launching a brand-new Experience Centre in Touchwood, Solihull in Spring 2022 and we’re looking for a completely new team to run it.

Our Experience Centres are our flagship stores, providing consumers with expert advice and hands-on demonstrations – truly bringing our products to life. We welcome both consumers and partners to come and experience the Miele brand and products every day. Our Experience Centres forge the link between dealers, consumers and Miele, by giving opportunities to close the sale either directly or through our partner network. Miele Experience Centres are different to normal stores, with lower footfall but higher value customer transactions. We strive to provide a premium experience for every consumer, whether they are kitting out an entire new kitchen, or dropping in to buy some replacement detergents for their washing machine.

Overview

Reporting to the Store Manager, the successful candidate will sell and advise customers in the selection and purchase of Miele appliances, with the possibility of up-grading products whilst promoting the Miele brand at all times.

This role is predominantly based within Touchwood, Solihull store but may be required to assist other areas of Direct Sales including telephone lines when operationally required.

We have both full-time and part-time vacancies available. The contracted working hours would be flexibly worked between the usual retail trading hours, which are from Monday to Sunday with occasional late evenings and bank holidays.

The Role:

The role holder will:
  • Give product advice on appliances and accessories to consumers
  • Sell Miele products to consumers confidently, explaining features and benefits whilst successfully up selling and cross selling to optimise sales.
  • Accurately process appliance and accessory sales orders and achieve team and individual sales targets’
  • Demonstrate Miele appliances confidently and professionally to both pre-purchasers and owners
  • Deal professionally with customer queries – over the phone, face to face and via written communication ensuring accurate well-constructed responses.

The Person:

Will have a good understanding and experience of working directly with customers in a sales/retail role. They should have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. An ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time is essential.

The successful candidate will also have excellent IT skills including basic Word and Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage although training will be provided.
