Global B2B Sales provide effective sales solutions for a wide range of businesses.

This Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship for the Sales role is based at our offices in Crawley. You will receive sales training and will then become part of the sales team, where you will sell subscriptions in the publishing space.

Duties include:

• Receive full on-the-job sales training from highly experienced staff
• Make business to business (b2b) sales calls with aim of winning new business
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure the database is up-to-date
• Research new leads to assist the sales team

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00-17.30, Lunch break will be unpaid

Pay rate: from £5.28 apprenticeship rate up to the National Living Wage of £10.42, plus there is a commission structure.

Future prospects: The possibility of a full-time post somewhere within the business, upon completing the apprenticeship

Training provided:

• Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
• Functional Skills Qualification in English and Maths (Level 2)
• Functional Skills qualification in Information and Communication Technology (Level 2)
• Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
• Employment Rights & Responsibilities

Expected duration: 13 months

Requirements:

• Computer literate
• High level of written and spoken English
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• GCSEs in Maths and English grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent)
• Natural communicator
• Positive, enthusiastic approach
• Good inter-personal skills, and confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people
• Interest in technology would be preferable, but not essential

Salary: From £5.28 per hour
