We have a fantastic opportunity for Warehouse Operatives at our Warrington store on a permanent basis with contract sizes between 24 hours and 30 hours a week.

Goods Replenishment (replenishing the shop floor before store opening times), Commercial sales. These are exciting opportunities, and you’ll be joining a great team!

Expected start date; 21st of January 2023.

• 24 hours weekly, 4 days out of 7. Working early morning, afternoon & evenings.

• Working between 8am and 11pm, approx. working 6 hours daily.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
You care about making a positive impact in the world. We are looking for proactive and energetic individuals who are not afraid to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. We are on the look-out for someone who has great communication skills, attention to detail, and enables a successful shopping experience for our customers by ensuring that our products are in the right place at the right time.

Ideally, for this role, you will have previous experience in retail, logistics or warehouse, roles. However, full training will be provided, and if you have a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn, you may still be perfect for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
• Focusing on order parameters, product ordering and availability checks to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer needs.
• Securing and maintaining the availability of products and taking actions together with your colleagues to minimise the impact of availability issues on our customers.
• Working with your manager to address any adjustment needs to the sales department.
• This is a physically demanding job that involves manual handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Maximising the efficiency of the goods flow by ensuring the operational forecasting in the store is in line with order parameters and available sales space capacities.
• You will be responsible to merchandise the shop floor ready for store opening.
• You will work with our internal systems to ensure that customers have accurate and full stock availability at all times.
• You will ensure a safe working environment for yourself, your co-workers, and our customers.
• We are looking for someone who has good IT skills and a customer service mindset.
• You will also be required to meet the customer in the store, and you will use your customer service skills to provide an excellent experience.
• You will use your great IT skills to use the IKEA systems to collect and prepare orders to be dispatched to our many customers.
