As our Sales and Events Office Manageryou will report into the General Manager

The Sales Manager will drive the necessary sales activities to deliver in all areas of the business. The role will involve client meetings, networking, attending agent presentations, familiarisation visits, promotional events and the generation of leads.

· Demonstrate sustained achievement in a similar role, managing the Sales function.

· Have large Meetings space sales experience and account management of MICE agents.

· Be driven and goal orientated, with previous experience in a hotel sales role.

· You will have both MICE and rooms experience together with handling national accounts.

· Maximise sales by using your upselling skills.

· Must have a proven record of success at increasing revenues through pro-active sales activities and meeting targets and budgets.

· Experience of working within and leading a structured team environment and able to demonstrate effective coaching and mentoring skills.

· Demonstrate your network knowledge of the city and surrounding areas with key clients booking large MICE.

· Understanding of budgets & forecasts

· A willingness to travel throughout the UK (presenting to prospective partner organisations, meeting and entertaining clients, attending trade fairs/shows).

· Possess excellent diary management skills.

· Meet deadlines.
