Job Description


The UK & Ireland Customer Sales and Support Assistant is an individual experienced in working in an order processing, credit control and customer care environment. This role is based at the Eurofins Wolverhampton site and reports to the UK & Ireland Support Supervisor.

Please note that this role is working Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30.


Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating and recording consolidated shipping of DTC kits, oligos and sequencing samples at Wolverhampton and customer sites
  • Placing orders via ECOM (internet based ordering system) including fax and email orders
  • Resolving customer queries received via e-mail, post and telephone
  • Process credit note requests
  • Processing invoices as required on a daily/weekly and monthly basis
  • Perform adhoc tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the business
  • Working closely with the UK & Ireland Support Supervisor & Sales Director to ensure office targets are met
  • Working cross functionally with UK & Ireland Sales team, European Customer Support & Technical Support to ensure customer’s satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to communicate clearly and effectively with an ability to build professional relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly to meet the needs of the business
  • Demonstrate problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in one or preferably both: order processing and credit control
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – with particular emphasis on Excel use
