About Us

As a result of continued growth we have a vacancy for a Sales Administrator. Avensys are one of the UKs leading Bio-Medical Engineering companies, supplying and maintaining medical equipment as well as providing training to the nations Bio-Medical Engineers. Never before has the field of Bio-Medical Engineering been the focus of such attention; the pandemic has seen a huge rise in demand for medical equipment and the associated services with Avensys supplying Equipment, engineers and training to the NHS Nightingale Hospitals.

THE ROLE

Some Of The Activities Of The Sales Administrator Will Be

The position of Sales Administrator will reside with our Resale Division. Resale services include the sale of pre-owned and new medical devices, medical equipment financing and our most recent offering, medical equipment storage.
  • Arranging transport of goods via either our internal network of engineers and drivers or working with transport and shipping companies.
  • We regularly receive deliveries of pre-owned goods and one of the your tasks will be to document the arrival of these goods, take photographs in the photo area and list the goods for sale on our own website and ebay as well as a couple of specific medical sales platforms.
  • We receive enquiries daily via email and phone, and you will be working with customers to answer their questions and deliver the great service we are known for.
  • Raising job cards and keeping our internal database and stock control system up to date with the items coming in and the items going out will also be something for you to get to grips with.
The Sales Administrator role will involve a great combination of desk based and ‘get up and do’ jobs and full training will be given in everything you need to know. It is a very interesting time to join the small Resale team as they are currently moving to a new 20,000sq ft warehouse to accommodate the growth of the division.

About You

Experience

of MS Office including Word and Excel would be useful, and we operate various other softwares that we use for stock control and record keeping so if you have experience of this type of work and or any experience in the healthcare sector that might be of benefit.

In the Sales Administrator role it is important that you are able to work quickly and accurately. You will be dealing with customers and suppliers as well as different departments in the business so it is necessary that you are not shy of the telephone and can talk confidently to a variety of people. Full training will be given in all processes and software and you will learn a lot about the medical industry which is a sought-after industry to work in.
