Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK. And we are proud to announce this wonderful opportunity to join our new Sushi restaurant, in partnership with 3 Michelin starred chef, Masayoshi Takayama of Masa, NYC. You will be joining a passionate, supportive, and award-winning Michelin standard dining team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

We are now looking for Runners to join our front of house team to elevate the dining experience of our guests.

About The Role

As a Runner, you will help the business and the team in a manner that will ensure that all parties’ expected standards are maintained at all times. The role will have a huge focus on operational process excellence as the role’s key attributes is helping to deliver a world-class restaurant experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the service delivery process along with the rest of the waiting and running teams that sit within the restaurant space. You will be supporting the restaurant team to deliver food to guest’s tables while ensuring we have guest delivery at the forefront of everything we do.

About You

You’ll be a trusted team player who has a track record of hospitality experience, with time spent working at a high end bar or café environment. Having great knowledge and a passion for food and drink, you’ll have the ability to perform duties effectively and at the highest standards with minimum supervision and guidance.

You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail. By being cool, calm and collected, you’ll be able to manage all kinds of situations and think on your feet.

In Joining The Harrods Team, You Will Receive

A competitive salary up to £16ph (this is made up of a generous base salary plus service charge*)

Set contracted hours: Full time role, 39 hours, 5 days a week – paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of 1.5 p/h
