An opportunity has arisen to join our small and dynamic clinical pharmacy team. The purpose of this role is to support the pharmacy department vision - ’Getting medicines right by ensuring their safe, effective and timely use throughout the patient journey’. This is achieved through a high level of medicine reconciliation, discharge facilitation and availability at ward level for pharmacy interventions and advice.

The post holder will rotate through medicine, surgery, paediatrics, mental health and technical services. The post holder will be expected to support clinical screening and accuracy checking within the pharmacy department and to participate in out of hours and weekend pharmacy on-call rota.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, ideally suited to an individual looking to gain experience in hospital pharmacy.

Closing Date: 1st November 2021.
