We are recruiting a Rooms Manager, responsible for overseeing the rooms department & delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What will I being doing?

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversee & manage all Rooms Operations including, but not limited to Reception, all Hotel Reservations & Housekeeping.
  • You will be responsible for guest experience with an open line of communication with guests before, during & after their stay.
  • You will have the ability to be visible in the operation, recognise & maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons
  • Provide leadership and act as a mentor, for all employees within the housekeeping & reception team
  • You will be responsible for feedback received from hotel guests
  • Liaise with other senior managers; organising daily reservations & reporting to the management team on shift.
  • Additional projects & responsibilities as assigned

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment is required
  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in leadership roles; strongly preferred.
  • You will be highly organised; a strong administrator, communicator, leader & mentor
