Reward Manager – Project and Change (L3)

The Opportunity:

This is the lead Reward project and change manager across UK, FSO and ROI and will play a key role in the reward team’s transition to a more streamlined, delivery-focussed model. This role will be responsible for helping to deliver with improved processes, consistency and automation, across UK, FSO and ROI (where possible) in order to become a true centre of excellence for Reward. A key deliverable will be the project management of the annual pay review process and then a transition of this responsibility. The role will also manage multiple reward projects varying in size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that all projects are aligned with our Total Reward strategy, monitoring and adapting, where necessary, to ensure that we meet our strategic objectives
  • Develops training and communication materials to educate and guide managers/employees on compensation and reward
  • Manages cross-functional teams within the firm but also with external parties
  • Key point of contact for project managing the annual pay review process and any transition of responsibilities to other internal teams
  • Acts as the main point of contact for all tasks, issues, communications, and updates as they relate to reward projects
  • Maintains schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for projects, monitoring teams to ensure objectives are met
  • Ensures an understanding of the bigger picture without neglecting the detail whilst tracking project health, managing risk and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintains an overall Project Plan (in addition to separate project plans as required for each sub-project), including monitoring and weekly status reporting
  • Responsible for managing project communication plans and effectively engaging with stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are addressed
  • Creates a communication strategy that ensures project successes and challenges are actively shared, seeking input from key stakeholders
  • Collaborates closely with leadership on impact analysis, risk management and resource planning to facilitate smooth transitions when change is required

Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Develops strong relationships across multiple teams within HR and the business to ensure actions are delivered to agreed timescales
  • Good technical awareness of compensation management tools (preferably Curo or SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
  • Highly resilient and focused on achieving the desired end result in a collaborative style
  • To ensure success, the candidate will need extensive project management experience leading large-scale reward projects as well as strong risk management, stakeholder management, change management and project governance experience

Ideally, you’ll also have
