An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-established, dynamic and forward thinking travel company as a Retail Travel Assistant Manager due to success and expansion in the Fife area. This travel company offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe to travellers from luxury tailormade travel to adventure packages. This role is ideal for an assistant manager from a tour operator or travel agency seeking career development, and to earn lucrative commission and work sociable working hours.

Retail Assistant Manager, duties include:

  • Inspire, motivate and mentor your sales team helping them flourish and ensure they reach their potential
  • Work with your team on their own Personal Development Plans and set goals for progression and achievement
  • Delivering results, including driving individual and store targets as well as achievement set KPIs
  • Bring new ideas to the table for business growth, driving in-store events and liaising with marketing to work on a localised marketing strategy
  • Lead with exceptional customer service and have a real passion for people.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have assistant management, team leading or supervisory experience within the travel industry either from a travel agency or tour operator.
  • Excellent management skills
