In this exciting and varied role, you will lead a successful retail department . As Retail Team Leader, you will take responsibility for stock and cash management whilst ensuring our customers receive a first-class experience in all retail outlets. You will line manage a team of Assistants, providing appropriate resources and organising their daily routine in order to provide the highest standards of retail service delivery. You will lead by example, demonstrating high personal standards of behaviour along with energy and drive.

Key responsibilities include: **

  • Maximising the efficiency of the centres retail operation ensuring great customer service;
  • Ensuring H&S and compliance is followedin the retail operation;
  • Playing an active role in the line management of a team of Assistants;
  • Completing the administration of on centre spending and income;
  • Assisting with centre specific duties associated with a children’s residential activity centre.

What we are looking for: **

We are looking for someone with previous retail experience who takes pride in delivering great customer service. You will be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships and provide motivation and clear direction to your team, ensuring that the customer experience is the team’s primary focus. Candidates will also hold, or be prepared to work towards, a GCSE Grade D, or Functional Skills L1, in Maths and English.

Contract length: 4 months
