South West Environmental Parks has an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail professional to join our team. Based at Paignton Zoo, one of the largest in the UK and a registered scientific and education charity, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the retail operation, including supervision of the staff, stock, premises and ensuring that Guest Experience is of an excellent standard.

We are looking for someone to be part of the Supervisor team responsible for maintaining the smooth and efficient running of the Retail operations at the Zoo. The ability to handle customer queries, complaints or requests in a professional manner is essential. You will have experience supervising a team and helping with performance management. NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/experience in Retail or Customer Services is essential. You will work closely with the retail manager to ensure stock ranges are relevant as well as maintain the stock levels so an understanding of stock control is essential. You will be able to contribute to operational decisions in relation to retail KPI’s. The ability to merchandise the ranges within guidelines in order to improve performance is also key to this role.

This is a permanent role working 18 hours a week over 3 days, with additional hours during peak time. The salary for the position is £10,277.28 per annum.
