We are looking for an experienced Security Officer to work in an extremely busy Shopping Centre in Chatham, the Centre is busy from open to close, the role is extremely varied with lots of interaction with the public, there is a lot of walking involved within the role.

You will be working on a 4 on 4 off rota which will dependent on how the rota falls include some weekends.

Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this role

Full uniform will be provided

Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activity
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify any potential security risks or breaches
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns

Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
