Retail Security Officer - Carlisle, England

The Role – RetailSecurity Officer

AM Services Group are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work on our client’s prestigious retail site and join the team in the Carlisle City Centre area

This is a Full-Time role with flexibility the suitable person would need to be available for around 8 hours straight shift from 6.30 am until 11 pm - 5 days over 7 and including weekends. Overtime can be available to cover holidays and sickness

Duties/Key Responsibilities

• You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
• Use CCTV to monitor the site
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Carry out routine patrols around the site
• Deliver a consistent and professional standard of customer service in a professional setting
• Use of client software
• Locking and unlocking premises
• Assist in deterring crime within the centre
• Operating Telephone Switchboard
• Liaison with local authorities including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency

Skills Required

• Valid SIA Front Line Licence
• Valid driving licence
• CCTV experience is ideal but not essential
• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Be able to access, control and manage a large crowd of people efficiently and quickly.
• Full 5-year checkable work history

• Experience in a similar retail security role is required
