Vacancy

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a professional standard of security in a retail store in the Ashington area.

Hours: part timeMornings/Afternoons

Salary:£8.91

Main Responsibilities:

• Patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity
• Apprehending shoplifters
• Liaising with the Store Management and Local Authorities
• Creating a safe shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
• Completing colleague and contractor searches
• Completing vulnerability checks on departments in the shop

Essential Criteria:

• Valid SIA licence
• Strong communication skills
• Smart appearance
• Ability to handle conflict situations in a professional manner
• Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
