We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Retail Area Manager or District Manager to join Pandora’s ’Retail Regional Sales’ team. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for successfully driving sales revenue in a nominated region, whilst building and leading high-performing teams throughout the territory. To be considered for this position you must have an extensive retail background, and having previously managed multiple stores within a leading fashion brand. We are looking for a sales and service-focused champion who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and who enjoys working as part of a team. The position is field based with a company car provided. Candidates must be located within a reasonable and commutable distance from the store portfolio and eligible to drive in the UK.
The Role & Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager will build high performing teams and strategically drive sales and profitability within ‘Owned and Operated’ and Franchise stores whilst retaining a customer-centric approach at all times. Global and local brand standards must be executed consistently, commercially and efficiently. The RSM will be responsible for building strong partnerships with key stakeholders (including Franchise Partners) in order to maximize the people, product & operational opportunities within the region.
Key Responsibilities for the RSM include:
People
  • Lead, inspire and develop your people to build committed and high-performing Store Managers and teams. Adapt leadership and coaching styles to accommodate the varying experience levels across; people management & development, selling, stock and operational excellence and visual merchandising
  • Promote an inclusive and diverse culture in line with the Pandora Brand Values
  • Champion a positive and flexible work culture, promoting continuous improvement and effective change
  • Develop and invest in talent to create a robust internal talent pipeline and succession plan
  • Recruit A-Class talent into your teams

Performance and Standards
  • Successfully drive sales performance to achieve sales targets and store KPIs for the nominated territory
  • Coach and lead Store Managers and teams to maximise sales & profitability and to deliver high standards of operational execution
  • Lead and deliver ‘best in class’ customer experience, brand initiatives and operational standards across allstores
  • Excellent execution of global VM standards, influenced by global market expertise

Partnerships, Training and Communication
  • Business partner closely with HR, Retail ops, Training and Merchandising in order to maximize potential in people, product and sales
  • Partnering with the ‘Sales Training’ team to develop training programmes to deliver business results
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with store owners, franchisees and store teams
  • Facilitate face-to-face training/workshops for store teams
  • Ensure all Retail communications are shared timely and aligned with Group Communications standards

Process, Analysis and Administration
  • Analysis of business performance, data and reporting to identify commercial opportunities, implement change and corrective actions where appropriate
  • Understand industry standards and benchmarks and seek ideas to ensure Pandora is a market leader in service and operational standards
  • Improve regional stock loss and accuracy
  • Manage payroll in line with business expectations
  • Provide product, customer and local market feedback to the wider business

KPI’s Include:
  • Improved regional P&L performance, specifically sales and EBIT.
  • Sales performance vs LY and budget.
  • Exceed KPI benchmarks for regional Conversion, ATV, UPT and ASP
  • Mystery shop results
  • Data capture and GDPR compliance
  • Team retention and succession planning
  • Stock loss and accuracy
  • Operational compliance

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
  • Extensive retail management experience within a global organisation and a proven track record of successfully delivering in a similar multi-site field management role (e.g. Multi-Site Manager, Area Manager, District Manager)
  • Experience of running high profile region with a high turnover
  • A customer centric and service focused team leader with a target driven and sales-focused mentality
  • A strategic and solutions-focused manager with an excellent understanding of how to successfully achieve retail KPIs
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in English (verbal and written) with strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work under time pressure displaying pace and energy
  • An inspiring leader, coach and mentor with excellent people development skills
  • High level of business acumen and experience with strategic planning
  • Data driven and experience with scheduling, high performance and productivity, stock optimisation, payroll and territory management
  • A passionate team player that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Self-motivated, organised and logical with effective time management
  • A creative flair with experience in visual merchandising
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
