Palm Recruitment is excited to announce that we are searching for Full Time Hotel and Restaurant Assistants to work at a 4 star Hotel and Spa based in the idyllic location of Wales just 30 minutes from Welshpool.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional and professional service to customers in the bar, lounges, restaurant and tea rooms

Help assist with large variety of special occasions such as corporate events, weddings and celebrations

Welcoming and serving guests from all over the world, attracting visitors who come to simply relax or to sample a wide variety of outdoor activities that the Hotel has to offer

Taking orders, serving food and drink including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner

Maintaining cleanliness standards and attention to detail in all areas

Recommended dishes of the day or drinks to compliment customers orders

Working well on own initiative and within a team

Duties to include waiting on, bar work, event set ups, cleaning, and customer service

Ensuring all guests get that holiday feeling and remaining professional at all times

Requirements

Experience of working in a similar environment would be beneficial but for those without experience full training will be given.

Essential to have a smart appearance as you are a huge part of representing the Hotel and Restaurant

Must have great communication skills

Must be confident to greet all customers with a smile and be able to build rapport with guests and colleagues.

Must be fluent in English

GCSEs including English and Maths

Around £20,000 per annum

Full Time, Permanent employment (40-45 hours per week, 5 days per week)
