We are looking for an ambitious Supervisor/Duty Manager with passion for food & service to expand our team.

Pecks Restaurant is a long established fine dining restaurant. Gaining an AA rosette 5 years ago, Pecks delivers a memorable experience to our guests. Pecks is renowned for its ’Dinner at 8’ concept, where guest arrive prior to 8pm and enjoy a 5/7 course meal that is presented at each course and has been described by National press as ’The Theatre of Food’.

Job description

Pecks is looking for a person with flair and dedication to delivering fantastic service in the restaurant. The successful candidate will be expected to:

- Aid the restaurant manager in daily managerial tasks

- Run the restaurant as a duty manager when the restaurant manager is absent

- Train staff to ensure a sustained level of discipline and professionalism in a fine dining environment

- Be responsible for the preparation of large parties, ensuring deposits are taken and communication with the guest is efficient

The Pear Hospitality Group is a Cheshire based, family run business. Starting with Pecks Restaurant in Congleton, the company then acquired The Wheatsheaf in Sandbach. Both venues have been awarded prestigious awards for excellence, with an AA Rosette at Pecks and a 5 Star AA award for The Wheatsheaf Hotel. The company is now renovating The Lion & Swan Hotel in Congleton, where it hopes to gain further accolades for a very ambitious project.
