We are looking for a talented Restaurant Manager who is capable of bringing their own skills and who is able to assist in training and developing the team and setting up systems standards. As Restaurant Manager you will oversee restaurant bar and cafe ensuring service and standards are maintained at all times.

  • Recruiting, inducting, train and supervise staff
  • Review staff performance and provide further training assistance with support and motivation.
  • Assist teams in providing excellence in customer service.
  • Create and maintain personnel records, and reports for all employees.
  • Ensure all new employee passport details and legal documentation is completed before or on the first day of work.
  • Excellence in cash handling, close of day procedures, banking,and all relevant paperwork.
  • Ensuring EPOS changes (menu items) are completed on time and with approval of general manger.
  • Pre-shift briefings
  • Ability to secure and instruct others to secure building upon closing.
  • Perform regular inspections of food and beverage preparation, quality,and presentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation are met and adhered to.
  • Ensure all team members have completed the correct compliance training.
  • Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards within the kitchen and maintain effective storepresentation.
  • Overseeing and managing stock levels in accordance with head office directive.
  • Ordering supplies according to stock levels and budget.
  • Creating staff rotas and maintaining wage costs in line with budgets
  • Managing workload and ensure effective working of restaurant activities, maintaining excellent standards, meeting,and exceeding operational expectations.
  • Handling customer inquiries and managing complaints appropriately.
  • Taking and managing reservations with efficiency
  • Greeting and managing customers within covid guidelines
  • Presenting menus, serving, following the order of service, assisting customer to choose food and beverage and up selling.

  • Assessing and improving sales at restaurant level
  • Achieving average spend per head targets
  • Handling all administration and paperwork at store level
  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities in order to sustain the running and developing the restaurant.
  • Ensuring the entire store including kitchen and stock rooms are clean, adhering to the cleaning schedule outlined in the company handbook.
  • Keeping HACCP up to date, ensuring all risk assessments, pest control and fire safety are current and in line with legislation.
  • Accepting full responsibility for the safety and overall operations of the restaurant.
  • Behave with respect, integrity,and honesty in all aspects of the role.

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
