Restaurant/Hospitality/Food Service Auditor

We have an exciting opportunity here at NSF to join our retail team as a Restaurant/Hospitality/Food Service Auditor, where you will undertake food safety, health & safety, and fire safety audits, in addition to coaching & training for NSF clients.

This is a great opportunity for newly qualified Environmental Health Professionals, or those with a minimum Level 4 Food Safety & Level 4 Health & Safety qualification looking to break into the audit service delivery environment!

*Currently we are looking for an Auditor in/or around Bradford*

What you will be doing:

  • Undertaking food, health & safety, Fire Safety, other related areas audits/coaching/training at client’s sites
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with administration and client management teams to ensure the smooth running of the audit programs
  • Effectively organising your own diary to ensure all specific client deadlines are met, accommodating last minute requests as necessary
  • Delivering food and health & safety training courses as required
  • Delivering training/coaching/advisory sessions at the client’s team meetings
  • Assisting the Team Manager with the training of new members of the team
  • Where necessary assisting Account Managers with: the promotion and continuation of a contract; preparation of statistical reports; technical support activities and undertake account management duties where required
  • Providing Emergency Call Out support for clients as requested by Team Managers

The candidate we are looking for:

  • A minimum of level 4 Health & Safety, and Food Safety qualification OR a bachelors degree in environmental health
  • Bachelors degrees in food science, food technology, or other related scientific area of study will also be considered
  • A Level 4 Health & Safety and Level 4 Food Safety qualification
  • Ability to perform audits in all disciplines (Food, H&S, Fire) and/or the ability to train safety advisors
  • Ability to work independently from Manchester/surrounding areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
