General Manager / Restaurant Manager - Bridlington

£28,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience) + company car & bonus opportunity (days only, no nights!)

We are a rustic but contemporary dog-friendly restaurant/cafe boasting panoramic views out to sea with Bridlington Bay and the Flamborough coastline. Our restaurant prides itself on comfort and quality, creating a high standard of home cooked food using locally sourced products and ingredients.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager / Restaurant Manager to join us. If you have worked within hospitality, have previous experience as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager and are looking for a fast-paced challenge with zero night shifts, please read below!

Key Responsibilities Of Our General Manager / Restaurant Manager
  • You will be responsible for our full team, leading them in a fast-paced and popular restaurant ensuring the smooth running of our establishment
  • You will be in charge of hiring, training and managing our team of waiters/waitresses and kitchen staff
  • You will need to have a knowledge GP’s, menu costings, wastage, stock rotation and kitchen procedures in accordance with EHO requirements etc
  • You will have full control and responsibility for our Social Media channels, showcasing our restaurant publicly and advertising our fantastic food and service
  • Managing our TripAdvisor page, ensuring reviews are replied to swiftly and politely
Key Skills/experience Of Our General Manager / Restaurant Manager
  • Must have experience in the hospitality industry
  • Must have management experience, or have owned your own business
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be passionate
