Part of the CareTech Family of Companies we are one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children and young people in the UK, delivering across Specialist Education Schools and Colleges, Residential Care Homes and a Therapeutic Fostering Service.We are embarking on a significant period of growth in line with our ambitious plans and, at the absolute core of our business, is our commitment to supporting our amazing children and young people with their own needs, desires and dreams to reach their personal best.To do this, we need to attract and retain fantastic team members who are fully committed to Cambian’s goals, who understand the challenges and rewards of working with our young people and who know that every day they will achieve things that really matter.You will report to the Senior Recruitment Business Parnter for the region, working hand in hand with the other Resourcing & Onboarding Administrators in the team and our operational teams.You will be responsible for supporting the Regional Recruiter to deliver the recruitment plan for the region, managing the administration of the Recruitment and Onboarding process for all team based roles for the full range of services on the ground. You will build close and effective relationships with the Residential teams and all the external parties we work with for onboarding and pre-employment checks.You will need a real eye for detail and quality – understanding that our absolute commitment to the Safeguarding of our children and young people is our top priority. You will be able to demonstrate your understanding of the regulatory environment we work in and the demands that our commitment to Safer Recruitment require.We are a unique and complex business and you will need to balance a hands on, practical approach, building positive and professional relationships with candidates and new starters. The Care/education sector is challenging and you will need to be able to demonstrate a proactive and persistent style, understanding that every candidate is valued and that their applications and pre-employment checks are properly completed at pace and are fully compliant. You will need to real resilience and flexibility and the ability to dig deep and roll your sleeves up, when necessary.As a new role in the structure, you will have a unique opportunity support our teams to make a real contribution to the recruitment plan for the region, attracting the best talent possible to transform the lives of our children and young people.Desires
  • Microsoft Excel Experience
  • Hands on experience will all selection processes (Communication and Interpersonal skills, reference checking and DBS processes)
  • Drivers licence
  • 12 months Administration experience – desirable
