Resort Manager

• £28,672 to £31,346 per annum
• Based in either Lowestoft or Melton, Suffolk

In this new role, you will oversee the day to day management of the Council’s resort portfolio comprising beach huts, kiosks, fisherman’s huts, chalets and concessions. You will manage a small team responsible for the short term hire, annual licences and sale of beach huts. This is an exciting opportunity to help implement and manage a new District wide beach hut website allowing short term hire availability, and act as a single point of contact for matters relating to the beach assets.

You will inspect and undertake risk assessments of seafront assets within the Council portfolio to ensure the management of the portfolio is compliant with all legislation and be responsible for reporting repairs, maintenance and redecoration of assets to the relevant parties.

You should possess a full knowledge and understanding of the statutes, bylaws and council policies relating to District seafronts, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to provide management and leadership to your team.
