Job Title: Children’s Support Worker

Salary: Up to £29,736.25 per annum

Location: Warminster

Contract: Full Time; Permanent

Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK

Shift Pattern: Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

Week 2 – Tuesday, Friday, Sunday

Week 3 – Thursday

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Children Care Workers to join our teams within the Warminster area. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

West Drove House is a registered Children’s home. We support Children and Young People to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

This home is based in Warminster and is within commutable distance from Salisbury, Frome, Warminster and surrounds

Contracts available – Full Time Days

Who We Are Looking For

People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives

Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging

Be patient, resilient and calming

Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs

Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
