We are currently looking to recruit a *Residential Care Worker* for our client in *Preston!*
  • What does a Residential Care Worker do?*
Everyday is different and unpredictable and you could find yourself doing activities that you’ve never found yourself doing. This could range from organising activities like arts and crafts, sports or evening watching plays. Anything that the Service User does, the Residential Care Worker does too.You will also undertake other tasks cooking and cleaning so the Service User has full support.

You will be flexible, reliable and adaptable to any situation to help young people make positive life choices.
  • What do you get in return?*
We are currently looking for Residential Care Workers who can work *20-40* *hours a week. *The rate of pay starts at *£9.75* but can go up to *£10.39 *due to experience!We can also offer an enhanced rate when if you were to work a sleep in or even overtime!We appreciate that you have a life outside the home so we will work with you to give you a rota that supports a positive work/life balance.We also offer extra benefits like, onsite parking, the cycle to work scheme, casual dress on shift, dental and pension plans.
  • Do I need to be experienced?*
Care comes in all forms. You might not have done this role before but we will look at you as a person. Full training is provided and continued support is given after the training is given. This is all paid for as well.If you are wanting to take things further, we can put you forward to get an NVQ L3 and expand your knowledge even further!*Frequently Asked Questions*_What checks will you go through?_In order to work with Children and Young People, you will be required to undertake a DBS to ensure that you have no criminal convictions and are able to work with Young People._Is this a permanent role?_This particular role is a temporary position that is guaranteed to become permanent after 3 months as long as you are happy and you have worked to the level that we expect of a newly qualified Residential Support Worker!_Do you offer sponsorship?_Unfortunately we cannot supply sponsorship for our Residential Support Worker, we cannot offer an form of international sponsorship but this can change so please keep looking.Yes!
