A great opportunity for a Research & Development Scientist to join a growing business that design and manufacture a range of specialist IVD point of care diagnostic systems and are currently developing a Covid-19 testing kit.

The successful Research & Development Scientist would be joining a project team within the wider Research & Development group that carries out the design, development and optimisation of nucleic acid tests on to system prototypes.

Research & Development Scientist Requirements:

* BSc in a relevant biological science

* Commercial IVD/Nucleic acid development experience would be ideal

* Strong laboratory background

Research & Development Scientist Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design and development of Assays

* Compose experimental plans

* Assay optimisation
