Research and Development Project Coordinator / ManagerLocation:ColneSalary:CompetitiveOur client is a growing technology-based company, located in the Northwest, which specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of telemetered wastewater flow and level monitoring solutions for the water industry.The Network-Monitoring Product Development and Data Analysis sections of their business is expanding rapidly, and they now need to recruit an exceptional Project Manager to join their hardware embedded and software product development team.The successful candidates will join their multi-disciplinary Research and Development department and be based at the offices in Colne, Lancashire.The Role- You’ll be responsible, along with other team members, to develop project plans, timescales, and costings to enable them to deliver the companys development roadmap.
- One plans have been agreed across the business, your role will be to achieve these plans, identify and resolve any issues before they become issues.
- Providing best practice project management guidance to the R&D team and assist in maintaining and promoting the process.
- Although the role is within the Technology team, you will cross into other departments to ensure that obstacles are understood and overcome!
- Like any Project Management role, everyday will bring something to challenge you!!
- Practical experience of supporting the delivery of development projects.
- Experience in project reporting and communicating status.
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills (project people love MS Excel)
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills (theres plenty of plates to keep spinning)
- Effective communication and presentational skills
- Strong proven skills, planning, executing and reporting on various product development projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrate a passion for technology, people, and processes.
- Love to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Relishes learning new skills and technologies.
- Hybrid working option, with a flexible working hours approach.
- Holidays will be 28 days per annum (including bank holidays) from January to December, extending to 33 days after 5 full years of service.
- Competitive salary dependent on experience, paid the last week of each month by BACS directly into your bank account.
