10.5 hours per week, temp from Sept 2021

£16.70 - £17.52ph plus holiday pay (dependent on TQ)

Rotherham Education Services (RES) supply temporary workers to the RNN Group, which consists of Rotherham, Dearne Valley and North Notts colleges.

The Role

We are looking for a lecturer to support the Health curriculum by teaching Biology to Access and progression level 2 students at Rotherham College on a temporary basis.

The role of lecturer is to equip the students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential. This role offers you the opportunity to do this every day. It is the job satisfaction that comes from this that makes a teaching role special.

Have you got what it takes to be successful?

The Suitable Candidate Will
  • Hold teaching experience preferably in a similar FE setting.
  • Be competent to teach and mark Biology on access/progression level 2 health programmes.
  • Hold a relevant trade and teaching qualifications or working towards.
The assignment would be for 10.5 hours per week starting in September for the academic year 2021-2022. We would try to be flexible with the days/times to suit the successful candidate.
