General day to day duties will be travelling with drivers to assist the loading and offloading of the removals lorries at customers houses and within our depot.
We also collect and deliver our removals boxes to our customers, so a good knowledge of the local area would be an advantage.
You will also be required to do nights out/away in the lorry as the job dictates, this could include up to 4 nights away and if carrying out European work it could be more.
You will need to be able to work on your own initiative.
General store work will need to be done on a daily basis, tidying up, getting goods down ready for customers to collect and loading goods onto vans for the next day.
Checking stock of our packing materials will also form part of your job.
Should you be suitable for the job role we would eventually put you through a forklift test to move wooden containers around in our store.
We carry out shipping of goods to other countries and experience in export wrapping would be an advantage.
Previous experience would be an advantage and a full driving license is required
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30am Friday 7.30am-4pm, overtime will be on an as and when basis and is not guaranteed.
