Duval Eye are recruiting for a Relief Security Officer to cover sickness and holidays in Swadlincote.

This is a contracted permanent role offerring non guaranteed hours

These roles comprise of varying shift patterns including days, night, weekends and bank holidays, mainly comprising of 12 hour shifts.

The ideal candidate will show an aptitude for professionalism and great customer service, You will need to have good flexibility and availability to be able to work a variety of shifts in order to cover absences for holidays and sickness as well extra security requirements.

You will need to be punctual and as several of our sites are difficult to access by public transport you will need to have access to your own personal transport

Duties include:

  • Gatehouse access control
  • Protecting premises, assets and personnel
  • Detecting and preventing any unauthorised activity throughout the site
  • Booking in visitors and vehicles
  • Managing client paperwork
  • Patrolling using recording devices
  • Locking and unlocking premises
  • Monitoring of Fire and Security alarm system panel
