Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 Base + Benefits

Responsibilities:

My client, a rapidly growing and well-established FinTech firm with a global client base in the Banking and Financial Services sector, has a fantastic opportunity for a Software Release Manager to head up a newly formed Release Management function in the business.

In this business-critical role, you will have responsibility for driving, co-ordinating and implementing the upgrades of the firm’s CRM systems, performed multiple times a year for the firm’s clients (300 per year). You will also provide both internal and external documentation and updates in relation to new system features and upgrades. The role will involve constant communication with internal Project Management, Business Analysis and Development teams, as well as external client liaison to ensure that you are running all upgrades on time and to the correct methodology. Outstanding problem-solving, Project Management, Release Management, QA, client-facing and stakeholder management skills are required for the role.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong detailed experience as a Software Release Manager, ideally across multiple upgrades on a consistent basis
  • Strong background in running end to end Cloud Software upgrades
  • Detailed skills in Project Management, QA, IT Release Management
  • Any exposure to CRM/Salesforce highly regarded
  • Outstanding stakeholder management experience both technical and non-technical
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills gained in a Software Release Management capacity
