Reinsurance Technician - Training & Development opportunity

Agile working flexibility / Home & Chelmsford office

Salary - to £27,000

You will be joining a global insurance company.

Our client is looking for a recent or upcoming graduate to strengthen their Outwards Reinsurance team by hiring an additional Reinsurance Technician.

With a comprehensive training programme and support from experienced professionals you will learn how to manage a designated portfolio of reinsurance accounts. You will become responsible for the assessment, processing and negotiation of premium settlement and claims recoveries.

This will include calculating premium adjustments, NCB’s and profit commissions and assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reports.

You will be responsible with the evaluation, submission and monitoring of reinsurance claim recoveries.

Work closely with brokers, co-insurers, reinsurers and Xchanging to ensure the successful resolution of queries and ensure the timely settlement of premiums and recovery of claims.

Suitable candidates will be a recent or upcoming graduate who lives in Essex (Near Chelmsford) who are looking for an entry level role within the Insurance Industry.
