CK Group are recruiting for a Regulatory Technologist to join a chemicals manufacturing and distribution company at their site based in Aylesbury on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company: Our client specialises in supplying raw materials.They now have a need for a Regulatory Technologist with great problem-solving, organisation and communication skills to join their Compliance Team. The department is responsible for updating technical databases, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, and solving quality issues. The company offers a good benefits package including 25 days holiday, pension, medical insurance, income protection, subsidised gym membership, early finish on a Friday and more. Training and career development will be provided and there is an opportunity for some hybrid working after the completion of your probation period.

Location: This Regulatory Technologist role is located in Aylesbury, commutable by road from surrounding areas including Oxford, Milton Keynes, London and more. Aylesbury also has a train station.

Regulatory Technologist Role: Your main duties will be:

  • Ensuring that the Compliance department fully understands the company’s obligations under current and future Cosmeticregulations, and that they adhere to these regulations.
  • Working with the company’s R&D, Sales and Supply Chain departments to ensure that Compliance information is communicated appropriately.
  • Communicating all regulatory obligations to the company’s suppliers and customers.
  • Discussing and answering customers’ quality, regulatory and raw material questions.
  • Helping maintain and monitor the company’s sustainability goals and commitments.
  • Help maintain the company’s Technical Database and all product technical files, specifications and Safety Data Sheets.

Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a scientific subject, ideally chemistry
  • A customer service-oriented mindset
  • The ability to work and communicate well in a team
  • Willingness to work in an office-based role
  • Good attention to detail
