Are you our next* Regulatory Affairs Manager?* We’re looking for someone to join our Sourcing team, to be responsible for product legislation compliance for existing and new products categories and to be responsible for setting strategy, SOP, and policies both internally and externally, thereby successfully supporting Gymshark’s business growth strategy across the globe.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

You will be responsible for building a team to monitoring product compliance and regulatory affairs, focusing on product safety and testing compliance, COO marking, size conversion, and accuracy of product description/market verbiages used in all our global markets.

  • Delivering global regulatory provisions for each of Gymshark’s International markets to ensure legal product compliance.
  • Communicating product and labelling requirements to appropriate stakeholders, including translations.
  • You will perform reviews to confirm sizing, label, and product acceptability.
  • Anticipating, communicating, and handling regulatory changes with respect to existing regulations that may impact existing product lines, new product introduction and business growth.
  • Assisting in the development of product concepts and marketing claims.
  • Evaluating and resolving product compliance issues with cross-functional partners.
  • Performing research on regulatory-related topics appropriate to areas of accountability.
  • Influencing product development process to mitigate risk.
  • Responsible for understanding emerging technical issues and identifying impact, and provide solutions to resolve.
  • Monitoring government/regulations applicable to their area of accountability.
  • Training internal and external stakeholders on regulatory policies or procedures
  • Communicating regulatory information to cross-functional teams and ensure that information is interpreted correctly.
  • Implementing or monitor ingcomplaint processing systems to ensure effective and timely resolution of all complaint investigations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A recognised degree or qualifications in related product testing or regulatory affairs.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role for an internationally accredited
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise across AMER, MENA & APAC.
  • Ideally from a testing company, retailer, or manufacturing/technical service industry.
  • Global testing standards (GB/FZ/QB), product labelling and advertising laws are required.
  • An understanding AATCC, ASTM, ISO and other international protocols related to textile testing are preferred.
  • The ability to make balanced decisions based on technical data, knowledge, and sound judgment.
  • To be dependable and able to work independently, set priorities and effectively communicate project update/developments.
  • Ability to think strategically, take direction and formulate improvement plans.
  • Excellent all-around communication skills, negotiation with the ability and trait to develop partnerships.

When normal office working resumes, our expectation would require candidates to attend to travel to GSHQ, Solihull, UK, occasionally.*
