Job DescriptionDue to one of our nurses leaving for a referral opportunity, our practice in Cannock is looking for a new registered veterinary nurse to join their team!This is a standalone practice based in the heart of Cannock to the south of Staffordshire. It is close to local amenities, but also has countryside and towns for you to explore on your days off.The team is currently made up of 5 Vets, 3 RVN’s, 2 VCA’s and four experienced receptionists who are led by their supportive practice manager, who ensures that you will be focusing on all things RVN in the role. As a team we try to all get out away from work together and frequently have lunch together to help with team spirit.We are looking for either a full or part time nurse working from 20 hours per week up to 40, with Saturdays (9am-2pm) shared on a 1 in 3 rota. Your shifts will be a mixture of earlier, mids and lates,8.30am- 4.30pm/ 9.00- 5.00 or 11.30am- 7.30pm as an example.About YouThe practice is looking for an RVN who is dynamic and proactive attitude with good general skill. One of our Vets loves internal medicine and another a keen interest in orthopaedic work. Our team allows for great scope for someone who loves all areas of nursing including theatre, surgery, and Schedule 3 progression to join the team. Nurse consults are 20min minimum or longer if working with a weight clinic. Nurses have administration support from the Practice manager therefore aren’t expected to do paperwork such as insurance forms!What we offer:
