An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager, to manage 3 small supported living services for adults with autism and learning disabilities in the Newcastle region. Each service is extremely person centred and has two service users in each service. If you have a person centred approach, and experience of managing a service for adults with learning disabilities, this could be the ideal career move for you! As a Registered Manager, your focus will be to achieve an excellent result for your services and promote the independence of the service users. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager or Service Manager, who has strong leadership skills and would like to enable the service users to achieve their potential. It is an ideal time to join this professional organisation as relationships with organisations within the community are being developed to ensure the highest standards of support is provided to the service users. Registered Manager Role :
  • Oversee small supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
  • The purpose of the Registered Manager role, is to manage the Team Managers of each service so that the day to day running of the services is effective.
  • The Registered Manager is required to provide direct staff supervisions and support plans and legislative frameworks.
  • You will have responsibility for ensuring best practice is promoted and implemented at all times and to ensure that relevant quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • As the Registered Manager you will work towards exceeding CQC requirements
  • Ensuring support plans/ risk assessments are maintained and adhered to
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance and a consistent approach to policy, procedure and legal requirements
  • Be able to form professional positive relationships with service users to support them to continue to live full and rewarding lives. Registered Manager Skills/ Attributes Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care Experience in managing supported living or residential service for or adults with learning disabilities or autism or mental health problems
