We are looking for a Registered Manager to support the smooth running of two services for people with learning disabilities in Kent. The ideal candidate may come from a health & social care background (Masters Level) or be an associated health professional, including nursing or behavioural specialisms.

Optimal Living (Kent) Ltd. provides residential services to people with learning disabilities, complex health needs and behaviours that can challenge. The people we support are at the centre of our services and we recruit individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of others, in a positive way.

The Sittingbourne service comprises of an eight/nine bedded residential home which supports the needs of individuals with a diagnosis of a learning disability, Autism, mental health disorders and behaviours that can challenge. The Sheerness service comprises of a four bed service.

We are looking for an individual who has a commitment to delivering high quality care, a strong working knowledge of regulatory standards, excellent organisational and communication skills and a “can do” attitude. They must be kind and caring, have a hands-on approach and must be willing to work with the staff team to mentor, nurture and develop their skills and knowledge.
