We are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Children’s Home Manager based in Derby. Salary & Benefits Registered Children’s Home Manager * £32k - 52K per annum plus up to £6,000 per annum bonus (depending on experience)
  • Shared on call (1 on-call in every 10 weeks which equates to maximum 5 on calls in a 1 year)
  • Full-time hours, Mon-Fri (some outside hours required to meet the needs of the home). Be part of an Established Nationwide Service Provider Our client is a National independent organisation specialising in providing care and support for children and Young People aged 7-18 who may have challenging behaviours, Educational Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism or ADHD. They may also have suffered neglect, trauma, sexual exploitation or abuse. Our client has extremely high standards of care and the children are at heart of everything they do, and the motivation is to give them the best possible future, which every child deserves. As a Registered Manager, you will oversee a 4 bedded Ofsted registered home which currently looks after 3 children living with EBD and additional needs. The home has very friendly theraputic , most resilient and excellent staff team in place. You would be supported by your Responsible Individual/Area Manager along with dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager, Team Leaders and Support Workers who will help you to build on the positive foundations that are already in place. Essential Criteria Registered Children’s Home Manager
  • Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.
  • You will hold or willing to undertake Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent (Preferred but not manadatory )
  • You will have a thorough knowledge & understanding of OFSTED requirements and legislation. (CHR 2015) We are not looking for just a Manager, we are looking for a leader, someone that will inspire the staff team and ultimately deliver the best care & support to the children they support.
